"Ugly can be beautiful" was actually the tagline for the 2005 marketing campaign for Crocs. Twenty years later there are some who are yet to be convinced. Poor fools.
The Crocs story began in 2002 when three friends – Scott Seamans, Lyndon “Duke” Hanson and George Boedecker Jr – launched the quirky, foam clog at the Fort Lauderdale Boat Show, based on an earlier design by Andrew Reddyhoffs at Canadian company Foam Creations, Inc.
